Feature availability across the 14-day trial, Annual subscription, and Lifetime purchase. All app features are available on every plan. Boogie Push is a separate optional subscription and can be added to any plan. After the trial expires, Boogie switches to read-only until you subscribe or buy lifetime.

During the 14-day trial, every feature is unlocked. After the trial, Boogie switches to read-only — your inbox stays readable, but compose, send, and calendar edits are paywalled until you subscribe or buy lifetime. No data is deleted.

Frequently asked questions

— FAQ · Pricing

What's included in the 14-day trial?

Full access, every feature, on every platform. Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. No credit card required to start. Compose, send, calendar edits, multi-account, Shortcuts — nothing is gated during the trial window.

What happens after the trial ends if I don't pay?

Boogie switches to read-only mode. Your inbox is still readable and searchable, and notifications while the app is open continue to arrive, but composing, sending, and calendar editing are paywalled. An active Boogie Push subscription is separate and keeps working. Your accounts and local data are retained — nothing is deleted. Subscribe or buy lifetime at any time to restore full access.

Is the App Store purchase different from the direct DMG?

The Apple App Store is the primary distribution channel for Boogie on macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS. Direct DMGs (via /updates/) are signed and notarised and auto-update through Sparkle — they remain available for macOS users who prefer direct install. Direct-DMG payment via Stripe or Paddle is on the roadmap and will match App Store pricing when it lands.

Is there regional pricing?

Yes. Apple App Store handles regional price tiers automatically, and we set specific lower tiers in Brazil, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Mexico, Turkey, and parts of Central Europe using Apple's purchasing-power parity bands. The goal is pricing that reflects local purchasing power rather than a single global USD number.

What is Boogie Push?

An optional add-on that wakes your iPhone or iPad for new mail even when Boogie is fully closed. Alerts show sender and subject and open the right message in the right account — and your mail stays private: we can't read it. First month free, then $19.99/year or $2.49/month.

Why is Boogie Push a separate subscription?

Closed-app notifications need infrastructure that runs around the clock, every day, for as long as you use them. Boogie Push is priced so the people who use it fund it — instead of hiding that cost in everyone's price. Notifications while the app is open remain free for all users, and there is deliberately no lifetime option for Boogie Push: an always-running service can't honestly be sold once.

I bought Lifetime. Is Boogie Push included?

No — Boogie Push is a separate subscription, on every plan including Lifetime. Lifetime covers the Boogie app and every update to it, for the life of the product, with no recurring fee. Boogie Push isn't an app update: it's a service that has to keep running every day for as long as you use it, and that cost recurs. Rather than raise everyone's price to cover it, we price it separately so the people who use it fund it. Notifications while the app is open remain free on every plan.

Refund policy

App Store purchases are refunded by Apple directly. Apple's 14-day no-questions window applies in most regions — request a refund via support.apple.com/contact. Direct DMG purchases (when available) come with a 30-day no-questions refund directly from support@boogie.digital.
