— On the App Store

1.4.1 2026-07-04 Current

Boogie 1.4.1 — fixes and refinements. • Downloads, fixed — attachments, inline images, and message source no longer fail with "Invalid username or password" on Fastmail. The JMAP spec routes downloads through whichever host your server advertises; Boogie was more conservative with your credentials than the spec intends, and now matches it exactly. Verified on Fastmail and Stalwart. • Calendar corrections — invitation replies now always send from the account that was invited, each account shows its own RSVP status correctly, and agenda views no longer shift by hours in some time zones. Plus a series of smaller scheduling fixes. • Attach from Files, fixed — on iPhone and iPad, files picked from iCloud Drive or another app's storage now attach reliably. • Identity settings honoured — a custom Reply-To and archive Bcc are now applied on every send. Plus further hardening from a deep review against the JMAP and calendar specifications. No analytics, no ad SDKs, no third-party services. Your mail, contacts, and calendar stay on your device and your server.

1.4 2026-06-27

Boogie 1.4 — your contacts, shared mailboxes, and smarter filters, all native. • Contacts, built in — view and edit your address book right inside Boogie, synced over JMAP. Your edits are written back faithfully, field for field. • Shared & delegated mailboxes — Boogie now shows every mailbox your login can reach, including shared and sub-accounts, and respects read-only or full read-write access automatically. • Server-side filters — create rules that run on your mail server, so your inbox is sorted before it ever reaches your devices. • Read receipts — request and respond to read receipts when you need confirmation a message landed. • One-step account setup — Boogie now finds your server automatically, so adding an account needs little more than your address and password. • Markdown, beautifully rendered — messages written in Markdown display as clean, formatted text. • Drag and drop — move messages and attachments the way you'd expect, on Mac and iPad. • Sharper rendering, plus a long list of reliability and security fixes. No analytics, no ad SDKs, no third-party services. Your mail, contacts, and calendar stay on your device and your server.

1.3.1 2026-06-15

Boogie 1.3.1 — search that actually works, plus a steadier inbox. • Search, rebuilt — a faster, more accurate on-device index, with clear control over which account you're searching • Calendar invites — emailed invitations now show an Accept banner and RSVP, and land on your calendar at the right time • Copy or move to another account — instantly, even offline • Faster message opening, and bulk "Mark as Unread" now works • Steadier sync — reconnects when you return to the app, and removing an account no longer leaves your others stuck offline No analytics, no ad SDKs, no third-party services. Your mail stays on your device and your server.

1.3.0 2026-06-12

Boogie 1.3 — faster everywhere, with a redesigned calendar, full keyboard control, and a fresh look. • Much faster email rendering — messages open noticeably quicker • Redesigned calendar — cleaner Week and Month views, jump to any date • Calendar colours — pick a colour per calendar and it syncs to your server • Contact avatars — faces from your Apple Contacts in the message list, headers, and compose • Privacy by default — remote images load only when you say so, with a one-tap Load Images banner • Keyboard navigation — fly through your mail with j/k, and see every shortcut in the new overlay • A refreshed look — new Liquid Glass sync and search bars • Find Boogie messages in Spotlight • Smooth scrolling in very large mailboxes • Fixed: delete, move, and flag now work from search results • Faster, more reliable multi-account sync, plus stability fixes throughout No analytics, no advertising SDKs, no third-party services. Your mail stays on your device and your server.

Version 1.1 — feature update New: • iCloud Signature Sync — opt in to keep your signatures in sync across your devices • Folder management — create, sync, empty, and delete mailboxes right from the sidebar • Live sync progress — a real progress bar as your mail loads, instead of a bare count • Printing on Mac — now fully supported (toolbar and ⌘P) • Vacation Responder — set an auto-reply from Settings • Mailbox Storage — see how much of your quota you've used • Free/busy and directory-backed autocomplete when scheduling events* Improvements: • Multi-account, rebuilt — dependable account switching, a From picker that spans every account, and proper isolation of signatures, sync, and mailbox actions • Signature editor — now genuinely usable: image insertion, titled list, explicit Done • Much better HTML email rendering — and far sharper printed output on iPhone and iPad • Reset & Resync now works on iPhone and iPad (previously Mac only) • Sign-in — fixed several cases where credentials could fail while iCloud Keychain was still syncing * On JMAP servers that expose directory and availability, such as Stalwart. No new analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party services.

1.0.3 2026-05-21

Version 1.0.3 is a reliability release — better sending, sign-in, and multi-account support. SENDING - Messages now send reliably even when your mail server doesn't tag its Sent folder; Boogie matches Sent and Drafts by name. - Fixed a case where the composer saved a draft but didn't actually send the message. MULTI-ACCOUNT - Switching accounts now correctly switches the mailbox list and folders. - The From picker shows identities and aliases from every account you've added, not just the active one. - “Move to...” groups mailboxes by account. SIGN-IN & SYNC - More reliable sign-in while iCloud Keychain credentials are still syncing — no more false “invalid username or password”. - Accounts stay signed in across quitting and relaunching. - Calendar and contacts now sync quickly regardless of mailbox size, instead of waiting behind a large mail backfill. - The mailbox sidebar fills in live during the first sync. VIEWING MAIL - New setting for a flat message list instead of threaded conversations. - The thread list now follows your selected sort order. - Unread counts no longer mark Sent and receipt folders as all-unread. MAC - Fixed “Reset Email Cache & Resync”. - Double-clicked calendar (.ics) files are now opened correctly. SECURITY - Hardened the handling of links in HTML email. No new permissions, data collection, or external services.

1.0.1 2026-05-13 Message Tags

WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION 1.0.1 Message Tags Create named tags and apply them to messages. See tag chips in the list and message views, and reuse tags across your mailbox. Fully localized across 41 languages. Inline Images The composer's insert-image control now uses the system Photos picker for faster, simpler image selection. Sign-In & Sync Server autodiscovery displays clearer progress and error messages. Self-sent messages now reliably appear in your inbox. The multi-account “Sign in required” banner accurately reflects your connection state. Stale error banners clear once sync recovers. Reliability Fixed “Reset cache & resync” on iPhone and iPad. Deleting or archiving an open message returns to the list immediately. Internationalization Corrected handling of non-ASCII and internationalized (Punycode) email domains. Fixed a regression that showed untranslated text on subscription, paywall, and settings screens. Mac Fixed a detail-window crash, an unresponsive Sign In button, a spurious cold-start sign-in prompt, and layout issues in the composer and tag sheet. iPad Magic Keyboard shortcuts now populate the Hold-Command overlay.

  • Full JMAP email — compose, reply, forward, search, sort; WebSocket push; offline mutation queue
  • Siri Shortcuts and App Intents from day one
  • JMAP Calendar — day/week/month with event CRUD and JSCalendar (RFC 8984) sync
  • Multi-account with auto-discovery and account-scoped views
